Courtyard By Marriott Alexandria Pentagon South Hotel

I chose this hotel for attending a summit because it provides 5 meeting rooms available for events, a business center, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. It was perfect for my government business needs and I could see it being great for leisure getaways as well.

One service that I missed for my work was the lack of a well-equipped meeting room or office space where I could work comfortably and hold small meetings.

The hotel's cozy and inviting decor was a welcoming sight for these old bones. The comfortable seating areas and spacious layout made it easy for us senior folks to navigate. The convenient location near a supermarket, drugstore, and restaurants made it effortless to access anything we needed during our stay.

The children working there should consider extending the shuttle service hours for the comfort of senior guests.

Polite and fast staff team was with great request and difficulty. The continental breakfast was incredible and had plenty of meals.

The staff were excellent, Angela at the front desk was an angel, and Kris was also great. The bed was phenomenal and the pool/hot tub was marvelous. The hotel had a positive and pleasant atmosphere, and the housekeeping was on point.

The hotel was a fabulous base for enjoying a safe area, right by Pentagon and Arlington. We had a buffet breakfast which was hot.

I have stayed in double room for 1 night, it was complete with the TV and a better HVAC system and WiFi.

My recent stay at Courtyard was fantastic! I stayed for a week for a business trip and the room was perfect. It was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a sofa, and a full writing desk set. The breakfast was delicious, with high-quality options that were more than enough to start my day. The staff was incredibly helpful and provided great service. I also appreciated the convenient parking with room card access.

By and large, it was best base for sightseeing in Alexandria, had much fun and met top-class staff with great request and difficulty. We got a great-sized room on the top floor. All in all everything was good, though we had really small bathroom.

Fairly clean and fine hotel, convenient location close to stores. We had a king room with exceptionally comfortable bed and central heating, a seating area and a writing desk. Had great service.

The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating. They recognized my loyalty status and even offered me a $10 food and beverage credit without me having to ask for it. the Bistro was larger than most Courtyards, and the staff there were also very friendly. the complimentary breakfast for rewards members was a nice bonus, and the location of the hotel made it easy to access the highway and explore the area.

There were a few issues with my room during my stay. the plumbing was dysfunctional, and there was a strange smell in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was perfect for us as it was just a short walk to the Mark Center, which made attending our meetings very convenient. The indoor pool was a nice feature, although we didn't get a chance to use it. The shuttle service to the airport and local shops was a great bonus. The front desk staff, especially Ashley, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

The Bistro offers healthy choices and specialty beverages, perfect for my snobbish taste. The location was great, close to hospitals and a memorial, so I could show off my cultural side. The hotel had free bikes and a fitness center, although I never used them because why break a sweat when I can just complain about it? And of course, the wireless internet was a must for my social media addiction.

Situated in a reasonably safe area of the DC region, it's also close to "Old Town" in northern Virginia. The Market: I couldn't believe the convenience of this 24/7 store. It was like having a tiny magical pantry at my disposal, with snacks and beverages appearing whenever I needed a pick-me-up. It felt like having my own personal snack genie at the hotel.

Noisy air conditioner

Our family had a fantastic time exploring the outdoor activities near the hotel, including the scenic biking and hiking trails at Jones Point Park. The breathtaking views of the Potomac River made it a perfect spot for some family adventure.

My wife says that having a designated kids' play area in the hotel would be great for families with children.
